A six-month-old infant, named as Muhammad Sha’ban and Yahya Naser, were killed in the evening of May 27, 2021, while ten other civilians were injured when Syrian regime forces and militias opened fire randomly in Aleppo city celebrating the presidential election results.
SNHR notes that the Syrian regime forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
