A man from al Joura neighborhood in Deir Ez-Zour city, named as Amin Khalaf al Jassas, was shot dead in the neighborhood on May 22, 2021 by members of the Jeish al Ashayer militia affiliated with Syrian regime forces.
SNHR notes that the Syrian regime forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
