A man, named as Abdul Rahman Hamoud al Rashid, from al Nmaisa village which is administratively a part of Ma’dan city in the eastern suburbs of Raqqa governorate, was shot dead by Syrian Democratic Forces’ personnel near the bank of the Euphrates River in the village on May 7, 2021.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
