A man from al Qameshli city in the northeastern suburbs of Hasaka governorate, named as Ammash al Abdullah, was killed on April 22, 2021 in crossfire during clashes between Syrian Democratic Forces and Syrian regime forces in Tai neighborhood in the city, which is controlled by Syrian regime forces.
SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing as of this writing, while the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrators’ identity and holding them accountable.
