A 10-year-old child, named as Mahmoud Mahmoud, from al Qameshli city in the northeastern suburbs of Hasaka suburbs, died on April 22, 2021, due to wounds inflicted on April 21, 2021, in a crossfire during clashes between Syrian Democratic Forces and Syrian regime’s National Defense forces in Tai neighborhood in the city, which is controlled by SDF. SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for child’s death as of this writing while the controlling forces bear the responsibility to reveal the perpetrators’ identity.
