Two civilians, named as Saleh Muhammad al Ali and Maher al Thalji, were killed while five other civilians were injured in a shooting by Syrian Democratic Forces in Jdaidet Kahit village in the eastern suburbs of Raqqa governorate on April 16, 2021, over an argument between the civilians and SDF personnel.
SNHR notes that the Syrian Democratic Forces have committed another violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
