The body of a 28-year-old man, named as Naser Najjar, from Kafr Amma village in the western suburbs of Aleppo governorate, was discovered by local families in al Shahbaa sport playground in east of al Atareb city in the western suburbs of the governorate on April 11, 2021, bearing signs of a gunshot wound.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing, the area is under the joint control of factions from the Armed Opposition and Hay’at Tharir al Sham. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
