A 63-year-old man, named as Amer Mustafa, was killed and other civilians were injured when Syrian Democratic Forces used artillery shells to target homes in Um Adasa village in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate on February 15, 2021.
SNHR notes that with this attack, SDF have, without doubt, committed another violation of Security Council resolutions 2139 and 2254 which prohibit any further indiscriminate attacks, as well as violating the rules of international humanitarian law which stress the distinction between civilians and combatants, spreading terror and panic among civilians.
