The body of a 20-year-old man displaced from Aleppo governorate, named as Ammar Ahmad Eisa, who was living in al Hawl IDP Camp, was discovered by local families in his tent in Section Five of the camp bearing signs of gunshot wounds on February 7, 2021.
SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for Ammar’s killing, with the area currently controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
