The body of a 16-year-old boy, named as Ahmad Hasan Mansour, was discovered by local families in Deir Hassan village in the northern suburbs of Idlib governorate on February 4, 2020, bearing signs of stab wounds inflicted with a sharp implement.

Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the killing, the area is under the control of factions of the Armed Opposition and Hay’at Tahrir al Sham. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, increasing the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
