The decapitated body of an 18-year-old civilian, named as Ahmad Eisa al Ali, from Deir Ez-Zour suburbs, was discovered by local families in Section Five of al Hawl IDP Camp near al Hawl town in the eastern suburbs of Hasaka governorate on February 2, 2021.
Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the civilian’s killing, the area is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
