A man, named as Muhammad al Barhou, was shot dead while another civilian was injured by gunfire from Hay’at Tahrir al Sham personnel who were chasing them in an effort to arrest them in al Maqsaf neighborhood in Salqin city in the western suburbs of Idlib governorate on December 28, 2020.
SNHR notes that Hay’at Tahrir al Sham has committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrators must be held accountable.
