The body of a man, named as Yahya Ibrahim al Eisa, from Kherbet Hamid which is administratively a part of Ras al Ein city in the northwestern suburbs of Hasaka governorate, was discovered by locals, bearing signs of gunshot wounds, on December 25, 2020. Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the killing, the area is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces. Despite the controlling forces bearing responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, they have not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the killing.
