A number of IDPs were injured and several tents partially damaged in crossfire during clashes on December 23, 2020, in al Nour IDP Camp near Shamarin village in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, between personnel of al Shamiyah Front and al Mu’tasem Division, which are both affiliated with the Syrian National Army.  SNHR has so far been unable to specify which party is responsible for the civilians’ injuries and the damage to the tents, and strongly condemns the incident, calling on the controlling forces to bear responsibility and to hold perpetrators accountable.
