A 14-year-old boy, named as Majd Athab al Hussein, was displaced from Qastoun village in the western suburbs of Hama governorate. His body was discovered by local families on December 22, 2020, near his family’s residence in Samedoun IDP Camp in the western suburbs of Idlib governorate, with wounds on his neck indicating that he had been murdered with a sharp implement. Although the SNHR is unable to identify the party responsible for the kidnapping and killing, the area is under the joint control of Factions of the Armed Opposition and Hay’at Tahrir al Sham.
