A 13-year-old girl was shot dead during clashes between Syrian regime forces and Syrian Democratic Forces on the banks of Euphrates River near Theyban town in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate on December 12, 2020. SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for the killing up to the time of this writing, while the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity.
