A displaced child from Raqqa city, named as Muhammad Arafeh, was shot dead on December 4, 2020, by a Syrian Democratic Forces’ sniper while he was on the roof of his family’s home in Sha’ala village in west of al Bab city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate. SNHR notes that the SDF has committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
