Syrian Democratic Forces’ artillery fired several mortar shells at Izaz city in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate on November 27, 2020, with one of the shells falling in front of the city’s National Hospital, partially damaging its structure and furnishings. SNHR can confirm that the hospital is located within a residential area and is free of any military presence. SDF bears responsibility for the attack, and SNHR calls on the group to launch an investigation into the incident and to hold the perpetrators accountable.
