A 32-year-old woman, named as Manal Samir Hamadah al Omar, from Mer’anaz village in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, was shot dead by a Syrian Democratic Forces sniper while she was working picking olives in farmland in the village on November 15, 2020.
SNHR notes that the SDF has committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, for which the perpetrator must be held accountable.
