A 17-year-old boy, named as Abboud Fadel al Afarah, from al Tebni town in the western suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot dead by a stray bullet of unknown origin in Badiya (desert area) of the town on November 1, 2020. SNHR has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for the killing up to the time of writing while the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity.
