A man named as Ahmad al Najdi was shot dead on September 29, 2020, by Hay’at Tahrir al Sham personnel when he tried to flee from his home as the HTS members were chasing him in order to arrest him in Kafr Takhareem town in the western suburbs of Idlib governorate.
SNHR notes that HTS has committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, and the perpetrator must be held accountable.
