A man from al Sheikh Reeh village in the northern suburbs of Aleppo governorate, named as Khaled Saleh, was a member of the traffic police of Izaz city in the northern suburbs of the governorate. Saleh was shot dead by unknown gunmen near al Fairaziya village in the east of Izaz city on September 3, 2020. SNHR is still trying to contact witnesses to obtain more details of the incident.

SNHR condemns all explosions which target civilians through indiscriminate killing and calls on the governing forces in each area to bear responsibility for protecting civilians in the areas under their control and conduct investigation and reveal their findings to the public. Stability will not be achieved in Syria without achieving a political transition toward democracy implemented according to a strict timetable.
