At least six tents were completely destroyed in a fire that broke out on July 20, 2020 in a camp in northern Idlib governorate housing IDPs from Kafr Zita city in the suburbs of Hama governorate. The fire in the camp, which is one of the Babesqa group of camps in the northern Idlib governorate broke out as a result of the misuse of cookers, exposing the already suffering IDPs there to further suffering. SNHR calls on international relief organizations to provide the camp’s residents with urgently needed essential provisions immediately and to provide the administration of the camp with a number of tents for emergency cases.
