A car bomb of so-far unknown origin exploded in front of a fuel market known as al Mazout Market in al Bab city in the eastern suburbs of Aleppo governorate on July 11, 2020, injuring five civilians and partially damaging the market’s facilities. SNHR is still trying to contact witnesses to obtain more details of the incident.

SNHR condemns all explosions which target civilians through indiscriminate killing and calls on the governing forces in each area to bear responsibility for protecting civilians in the areas under their control and conduct investigation and reveal their findings to the public. Stability will not be achieved in Syria without achieving a political transition toward democracy implemented according to a strict timetable.
