Mahmoud Jaber al Hawilah, from Ghasam village in the eastern suburbs of Daraa governorate, is a student at the Faculty of Law in Damascus University’s Daraa campus. He was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Daraa city on June 11, 2020, and taken to an undisclosed location. SNHR, which has so far been unable to identify the party responsible for this kidnapping, condemns all cases of kidnap and arbitrary arrest.
