Abdul Qader al Shami is from al Abzemou town in the western suburbs of Aleppo governorate. SNHR’s team has recorded that Abdul Qader was shot dead by members of Hay’at Tahrir al Sham when he tried to flee during a raid in his home in the town to arrest him on June 11, 2020.
HTS has committed a violation of international humanitarian law through this indiscriminate killing, and the perpetrator must be held accountable.
