The girl Nour Muhammad Ibrahim Abazid from Daraa city was killed on May 27, 2020, by a stray gunfire from an unknown origin in Um al Mayathen village in the eastern suburbs of Daraa governorate. SNHR has been unable to identify the party responsible for her death up to the time of writing. Although the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, the Syrian regime has not launched any investigation, which increases the suspicion of its forces’ involvement in her death.
