The six-year-old child Khalil Abdul Razzaq from Raqqa city went missing on May 17, 2020, in Raqqa city. On May 26, 2020, his body was found by local people with signs of stab wounds inflicted with a sharp implement in an empty building near the juvenile prison in Raqqa city.
The area is controlled by Syrian Democratic Forces. SNHR has been unable to identify the party responsible for his death up to the time of writing. Although the controlling forces bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, the SDF has not launched any investigation, which increases the likelihood of its involvement in his killing.
