Aziz Ramadan al Eidou came from Abu Kharazeh village which is administratively a part of Ein Eisa city in the northern suburbs of Raqqa governorate. SNHR has confirmed that local people found his body, bearing signs of gunshot wounds, in the area on May 19, 2020. The area is controlled by Syrian Democratic Forces. SNHR has been unable to identify the party responsible for his death up to the time of writing. Although the controlling factions bear responsibility for revealing the perpetrator’s identity, the SDF has not launched any investigation which increases the suspicion of their involvement in the operation.
