The brothers Hussam, Ahmad and Haitham Muhammad Abu Halaweh, born in 1968, 1983 and 1988 respectively, from Ibta’ town in the northern suburbs of Daraa governorate, were arrested in July 2018, by Syrian regime forces in Ibta’ town. The brothers were among people agreed on a settlement earlier. On March 19, 2020, their family was informed that they are registered as dead in September 2018, in Civil Registry. SNHR suggests that the torture is likely to be the cause of their deaths in Seydnaya Military prison in Damascus suburbs governorate.
