Farhoud Turki al Aani, from al Boulayl village in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was arrested in 2017 by Syrian regime forces. On February 8, 2020, SNHR received information confirming his death due to torture in a detention center in Damascus city.
