The children Yamen Saed Allah al Terkawi, his brother Ahmad and Malek Moayad al Terkawi were killed on August 17, 2019. in the explosion of a cluster munition of remnants of previous bombing by Syrian- Russian Alliance forces on Mas’ada village in the eastern suburbs of Hama governorate. Yet, the remnants of weapons constitute a real threat to civilians in the areas controlled by factions of armed opposition. SNHR has issued a number of reports on cluster munitions and remnants of weapons where we urged to have special equipment that helps civilians in removing explosive remnants.
