The doctor Emad Mohammad Hasnawi al Jdou’, a pediatrics specialist from Tal Barrak town which is administratively a part of al Qameshli city in the eastern suburbs of Hasaka governorate, works at the National Hospital in al Qameshli city, was arrested by Syrian Democratic forces on August 7, 2019, as he was passing a checkpoint near Marshou circle in the middle of Hasaka city and taken to an undisclosed location.
