Khalil Mohammad al Hawija, from Abu Hardoub village in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate, died on August 9, 2019, due to wounds sustained on August 8, 2019, in a shooting by gunmen on the road linking Theyban town and al Tayyana village in the eastern suburbs of Deir Ez-Zour governorate. We are unable to identify the responsible party as of this writing.
