The child Mohammad Haitham Suleiman Amaya was killed along with his father on March 3, 2019, in the explosion of a missile of previous shelling remnants by Syrian- Russian Alliance forces on Jam’iyeat al Hadi area in Aleppo governorate northern suburbs. Yet, the remnants of weapons constitute a real threat to civilians in the areas controlled by factions of armed opposition. SNHR has issued a number of reports on cluster munitions and remnants of weapons where we urged to have special equipment that helps civilians in removing explosive remnants.
