The child Ibrahim Jaqlan was killed on February 9, 2019, in the explosion of a cluster munition of remnants of pervious shelling by Syrian- Russian alliance forces on Hraitan town in Aleppo governorate northern suburbs. Yet, the remnants of weapons constitute a real threat to civilians in the areas which is controlled by factions of armed opposition. SNHR has issued a number of reports on cluster munitions and remnants of weapons where we urged to have special equipment that helps civilians in removing explosive remnants.
