Ibrahim Hasan al Ahmad, from Tal Abyad city in Raqqa governorate northern suburbs, was arrested on January 17, 2019, by Self- Management forces (Kurdish Democratic Union Party- PKK branch) as he was passing a checkpoint in Tal Abyad city and taken to an undisclosed location.
