Rania al Halabi, an activist of popular uprising and the director of Independent Kurdish Syrians Association, from Damascus city, born in 1974, was arrested on January 9, 2019, by gunmen of military police affiliated with factions of armed opposition in a raid on her workplace in the office of Independent Kurdish Syrians Association in Afrin city in Aleppo governorate northern suburbs and taken to an undisclosed location.
