Osama Mohammad Mar’ei al Latif, a teacher, born in 1958, has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, from al Mayadeen city in Deir Ez-Zour governorate eastern suburbs, arrested by Syrian regime forces in 2013, as he was passing a checkpoint on the road linking Ras al Ein city, in Hasaka governorate northern suburbs, and al Mayadeen city. On August 21, 2017, we received information confirming his death due to torture in a detention center in Damascus city.
المدرّس أسامة محمد مرعي اللطيف، حاصل على إجازة في الفلسفة، من أبناء مدينة الميادين بريف محافظة دير الزور الشرقي، من مواليد عام 1958، اعتقلته قوات النظام السوري في عام 2013، لدى مروره على نقطة تفتيش تابعة لها على الطريق الواصل بين مدينة رأس العين بريف محافظة الحسكة الشمالي ومدينة الميادين، في 21 آب 2017، حصلنا على معلومات تؤكد وفاته بسبب التعذيب داخل أحد مراكز الاحتجاز في مدينة دمشق.
