A 27-year-old man, identified as Sakran Hammoud al-Jamil from al-Neitel village in northern Deir Ez-Zour governorate who worked as a security guard at the al-Seijan Oil Field in northeastern Deir Ez-Zour governorate, was shot dead by a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) patrolman in his place of work. The area is under the control of the SDF.
The Syrian Network for Human Rights (SNHR) notes that through this killing, the SDF has again violated international human rights law. The perpetrators must be held accountable.
